Our Services

Annu Projects has ventured into many work profiles as and when opportunity was there for us to explore. A Brief introduction to the sectors where company has been involved and successfully ventured into are as below:

Telecom

The telecommunications industry within the sector of information and communication technology is made up of all Telecommunications /telephone companies and internet service providers and plays the crucial role in the evolution of mobile communications and the information society. Traditional telephone calls continue to be the industry’s biggest revenue generator, but thanks to advances in network technology, Telecom today is less about voice and increasingly about text (messaging, email) and images (e.g. video streaming). High-speed internet access for computer-based data applications such as broadband information services and interactive entertainment, is pervasive. Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) is the main broadband telecom technology. The fastest growth comes from (value-added) services delivered over mobile networks. The telecom sector continues to be at the epicenter for growth, innovation, and disruption for virtually any industry. Mobile devices and related broadband connectivity continue to be more and more embedded in the fabric of society today and they are key in driving the momentum around some key trends such as video streaming, Internet of Things (IoT), and mobile payments.

We at Annu Projects, are primarily engaged in surveying, designing, and installing cabling and tower infrastructures for communication, automation, and electronic security systems. As part of our offerings, we also undertake the laying of OFC network, both overhead and underground, for telecom operators across India. Majority of our revenue is derived from this vertical. We serve PSUs and private parties by implementing OFC networks for their telecom networks. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, A2Z Infra Engineering Limited, Bharat Broadband Network Limited, GR Infraprojects Limited and others are some of our customers in telecom infrastructure sector.

Sewerage

Sewerage is the infrastructure that conveys sewage. It encompasses components such as receiving drainsmanholespumping stations, storm overflows, and screening chambers of the combined sewer or sanitary sewer. Sewerage ends at the entry to a sewage treatment plant or at the point of discharge into the environment. It is the system of pipes, chambers, manholes, etc. that conveys the sewage or storm water.

Our core activities in this sector include pipe laying, construction of manholes, construction of sewerage treatment plants, construction of pumping stations, and construction of structural facilities essential for supporting sewerage operations, construction of stormwater drainage systems and screening chambers for combined or sanitary sewers. The sewerage system typically concludes either at the inlet of a sewage treatment facility or at the designated discharge point into the environment. We are one of the key contractors with Sewerage Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company Limited, Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, and Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Company Limited for their sewerage scheme. The projects under this vertical are funded by World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Central Government, State Government under various scheme of Namami Gange and Swachh Bharat Mission.

Irrigation Sector

Irrigation in India includes a network of major and minor canals from rivers, groundwater well based systems, tanks, and other rainwater harvesting projects for agricultural activities. Of these groundwater system is the largest. In 2013-14, only about 47.7% of total agricultural land in India was reliably irrigated. The largest canal in India is Indira Gandhi Canal, which is about 650 km long. About 2/3rd cultivated land in India is dependent on monsoons. Irrigation in India helps improve food security, reduce dependence on monsoons, improve agricultural productivity and create rural job opportunities. Dams used for irrigation projects help produce electricity and transport facilities, as well as provide drinking water supplies to a growing population, control floods and prevent droughts.

We have executed various projects for irrigation systems in North India, using the technology from Israel in Drip Irrigation & Sprinkler system.

We have also done earth work, canal lining and other relevant projects under irrigation scheme.

Power Sector

The utility electricity sector in India has one National Grid with an installed capacity of 345.5 GW as on 31 July 2018. Renewable power plants constituted 33.60% of total installed capacity. During the fiscal year 2017-18, the gross electricity generated by utilities in India was 1,303.49 TWh and the total electricity generation (utilities and non utilities) in the country was 1,485.5 TWh. The gross electricity consumption was 1,149 kWh per capita in the year 2017-18.India is the world’s third largest producer and third largest consumer of electricity. Electric energy consumption in agriculture was recorded highest (17.89%) in 2015-16 among all countries. The per capita electricity consumption is low compared to many countries despite cheaper electricity tariff in India.

India has surplus power generation capacity but lacks adequate infrastructure for supplying electricity to all needy people. In order to address the lack of adequate electricity supply to all the people in the country by March 2019, the Government of India launched a scheme called “Power for All”. This scheme will ensure continuous and uninterrupted electricity supply to all households, industries and commercial establishments by creating and improving necessary infrastructure. It’s a joint collaboration of the Government of India with states to share funding and create overall economic growth.

Annu Projects is also actively involved in Power sector and have successfully completed laying of Power Cables in Jaipur for Vindhya Telelink and in Delhi for NDPL.

Gas Pipe Projects

The oil and gas sector is among the six core industries in India and plays a major role in influencing decision making for all the other important sections of the economy.

In 1997–98, the New Exploration Licensing Policy (NELP) was envisaged to fill the ever-increasing gap between India’s gas demand and supply. India’s economic growth is closely related to energy demand; therefore the need for oil and gas is projected to grow more, thereby making the sector quite conducive for investment.

The Government of India has adopted several policies to fulfil the increasing demand. The government has allowed 100 per cent Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in many segments of the sector, including natural gas, petroleum products, and refineries, among others. Today, it attracts both domestic and foreign investment, as attested by the presence of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) and Cairn India.

We are actively engaged in laying MDPE ranging from 20 mm to 125 mm in diameter, along with 38,300 GI house connections for domestic and commercial gas supply. We have completed projects for Indraprastha Gas Limited, Gujarat Gas Limited and Gail India Limited. As on March 31, 2025, we are working on 14 projects with Gail India Limited in Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh.

Machinery Division

One of our group companies is engaged in marketing of Horizontal Drilling Machine from China and its locating system from USA. As now days in all metropolitan cities basic utilities are being laid by mechanical process, this has its own potential strength and advantage. This company is also representing another company which is USA based for selling the ultra modern equipment used for rehabilitation of old pipe lines by using the Pipe Bursting Technology.
